Chapter 03 · Linear Algebra · 3 lessons

Eigenvalues & Eigenvectors

A matrix moves every vector in the plane, but a few directions refuse to be knocked off their line — the matrix can only stretch them. These three short lessons hunt down those special directions, measure each stretch with a single number, and then use both to predict what happens when a matrix is applied over and over. That last trick is how Google originally ranked the web.

01 Special directions ~6 min 02 The stretch factor ~6 min 03 Why eigenvectors matter ~6 min

Finish all three, then prove it in Practice.
